Larry Crim for U.S. Senate  2014:  "Tennesseans tell me their concerns are not being addressed by our current Senator in Washington - largely due to a disconnect they feel to an individual who has spent nearly a half century as a career politician."  

Alexander Out of Touch with Tennesseans:  Tennesseans have seen bail outs for big banks, corporate tax loopholes for billionaire corporations, and defense of the wealthiest Americans by Lamar Alexander Republican.  At the same time Alexander has aggressively gone after cutting their Social Security Benefits and opposed Federal Disaster Aid for his fellow Americans. These Alexander policies reveal a career politician out of touch with typical Tennesseans.  

Crim Connected with Constituents:  Larry Crim U.S. Senate 2014 has spent a lot of time with Tennesseans on the campaign trail and, as a fifth generation Tennessean, understands the concerns of his Tennessee constituents.  

Crim is concerned because his opponent's career politician and corporate favoritism approach have been devastating to Tennesseans and will continue unless Alexander is retired in 2014 and replaced with a qualified candidate for public service who is not beholden to major corporations and big political donors.

While the incumbent has spent an entire career on the public dole, he has advocated cutting the Social Security role. Tennesseans have seen major corporations bailed out, exempted, and defended, while we, as citizens and fellow Tennesseans, are not bailed out, but bombarded by Alexander's aggressive attacks on our Social Security.  We've seen the economy near disaster caused by career politicians like Alexander, who preferred companies over their constituents, while voting to deny desperately needed Federal Disaster Relief to their fellow Americans.

Many Tennesseans go without regular health care, while our current Senator has the best your taxpayer money can buy.

The opportunity for a higher education or vocational training are illusive goals for many Tennesseans, but the incumbent Senator, who has long ago finished his education, does not evidence an awareness or concern with this fact.  Equal educational opportunity in principle still needs equitable public funding among all colleges and universities in practice.  Alexander did not assure the realization of these goals from the state perspective as Governor, and has abdicated a senatorial role to address this goal from a federal perspective as U.S. Senator. The federal interstates and highways in Tennessee and across the nation, which all Tennesseans and Americans use, need repair and expansion to catch up with decades of increased vehicle volume, prepare for the future transportation needs of Americans, and create jobs. These are national issues requiring a federal response.

Yet, these important issues are not a priority of our current U.S. Senator from Tennessee.  Most Tennesseans are NOT even provided the most basic constituent services.   "Tennesseans don't believe they have a voice in Washington.   My fellow Tennesseans have good reason to hold this belief.  They want and deserve a voice in Washington D.C. for them.  And that is
why I am running, to address the concerns of all Tennesseans and be Your voice" said Larry Crim U.S. Senate 2014.
